Zohr Offshore Services is proud to announce the deployment of M/V BADR 103 in support of offshore operations for the Abu Qir Port Development Project, one of Egypt’s largest ongoing marine infrastructure projects. Our vessel BADR 103 is currently engaged in passenger and material transfer operations in support of the Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) “AMAZON”, operated by DEME Offshore Holding NV, under their major contract for the Abu Qir Port project. This landmark development includes: Reclamation of approximately 1,000 hectares of new land Deepening of the port’s approach channel to 23 meters Dredging of a turning basin to 22 meters Removal of an estimated 150 million cubic meters of material The marine works scope—comprising 6,800 meters of quay walls for new berths, 8,800 meters of breakwaters, and extensive soil improvement works—is being executed by GIECO, DEME’s consortium partner and Egypt’s leading marine engineering company. Zohr Offshore Services is honored to contribute to this strategic national project through reliable marine support, reinforcing our commitment to excellence, safety, and operational efficiency in offshore and marine services.
